Key Updates:
Improved “What Do You Need Help With?” Screen (GEEK-1569)
We’ve made multiple UI and copy adjustments for better clarity and usability:
- Simplified OS labels: “Android” is now “Chromebook/Android,” and “MacOS” is simply “Mac.”
- Added a subtle OS indicator below the details box: e.g., “I’m using Windows OS (change)” (where only “change” is clickable).
- Non-selectable sub-categories are now greyed out for visibility.
- Bookmark icon and OS icons are now properly aligned and displayed.
Enhanced Technician Notifications (GEEK-1570)
Technicians can now see the customer’s operating system in their job notifications for quicker context.
Restricting Technician Access to Jobs (GKF-1521)
Once a technician moves away from a job, they lose access to it, ensuring sensitive data is protected for the newly assigned technician.
Improvements & Fixes:
Fix: Auto Call Behavior (GEEK-1534)
Auto calls now wait 30 seconds (instead of 15) before initiating, and won’t trigger if both parties are already connected.
Adjusted Estimated Timeline Reminder (GEEK-1568)
Updated copy for better communication:
“Hi [TechName], you’re nearing the estimated time for this job. Please inform your client if additional time is needed to complete the task.”
Browser Tab Icon Alignment (GEEK-1571)
Fixed a stretched icon issue in the app. Now the browser tab icons look consistent across both the app and WordPress.
